Co-founder of Turiya and our Medical director, Dr.Jegadish Baskaran studied from Stanley medical collage between 1985 to 1991. After basic medical qualification he specialized in anesthesia at Stanley medical collage to 1991 to 1993.He pursued his higher studies in anesthesia in England and obtained FRCA inn 1997. During his training in the UK he specialized in pain management .he worked as a consultant in Anesthesia and pain management at Broomfield hospital Chelmsford Essex between 2000 to 2005. He returned to India and continued to work as a senior consultant in anesthesia in pain management. He learnt acupuncture in UK which is popularly called western acupuncture (vs. traditional Chinese acupuncture) he is deeply inspired by Edward batch principles and learnt flower medicine and homeopathy.. He’s been very successful in managing common problems in elderly people with seamless intergration of conventional medicine , acupuncture and homeopathy.

Dr. R. RamaNachiar

Dr. Rama graduated with her MBBS in 1997 from Madurai Medical College. She then worked as RMO in O&G Keelakarai Mohammed Saddaq Hospital for 6 months. Later as a RMO in O&G Kaaraikudi Aravind Hospital from May-Oct1998. She pursued her Clinical Attachment in O&G Burton on Trent, U.K from HS March-August 1999. She currently is a GP & PAIN Alleviation Practice doctor in Arulanandan clinic, Thiruvanmiyur since 2006.
